David Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Sabino da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulisses de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Ninjinha10Fc's Ruy Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iauare's goalkeeper David Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Iauare's zone, Osmar Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Quintal came out of the goal and Osmar Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Quintal made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ruy Baptista sent off a good shot on target. David Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Palmeira in the 38th minute of the match. Ruy Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Quintal having to interfere. Sabino da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ulisses de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Marcelinho dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ninjinha10Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses de Almeida should have stopped the shot. After the first half Iauare were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

David Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Palmeira in the 61st minute of play. Ruy Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Iauare's David Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Baptista in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Iauare's Vânderson Ceresso got a free kick in the 70th minute. Roberto Paulista's late challenge caught a Iauare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Paulista helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ninjinha10Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! 0-4 came through a penalty shot after 75 played minutes, when Iauare:s Elói Palmeira calmly waited for Ninjinha10Fc:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. A collision led to Ninjinha10Fc getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cássio Paraíba hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Iauare were awarded a corner. Elói Palmeira went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Sabino da Costa at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Ninjinha10Fc. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ruy Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjinha10Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Osmar Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of David Quintal. Iauare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Osmar Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Ruy Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ninjinha10Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 102 minutes into the match, Marcelinho dos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulisses de Almeida, 2-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Iauare eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
