Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelsinho Chaves started the match with the kick off. Nelsinho Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jacinto Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Sport Clube's Nelsinho Chaves suffered a concussion in the 12th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 12 minutes, Tarcisio Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tairucu FC and the Arnold Sport Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacinto Perez went to the wrong direction when Rafa Montenegro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 16th minute, Arnold Sport Clube's Iuri Macedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Perez. Jacinto Perez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Iuri Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tairucu FC's zone, Gláuber Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Perez came out of the goal and Gláuber Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Fonseca in the 29th minute of play forced Tairucu FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilvan Linhares went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Severino Trevisan scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute Severino Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tairucu FC's Gilvan Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Tairucu FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Gláuber Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gláuber Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gláuber Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Arnold Sport Clube's Gláuber Fonseca got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Severino Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tairucu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilvan Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cássio de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Severino Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arnold Sport Clube getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gláuber Fonseca hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Arnold Sport Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor de Godoy. In the 75th minute, Gilvan Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilvan Linharess short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Cássio de Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Trevisan in the 79th minute of play. If Iuri Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Severino Trevisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arnold Sport Clube's Cássio de Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Arnold Sport Clube's Iuri Macedo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
