After some careless play in the Wikiui defense, Hortêncio Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Neves. The Wikiui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Neves should have stopped the shot. Mazinho Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Paulo Neves made a huge save. A collision led to Wikiui getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Diego Costa hit a great ball. When Hortêncio Tande came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Açougueiros F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Tande couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Wikiui's goalkeeper Paulo Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Tande. Paulo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Loreto in the 21st minute of play. Paulo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hortêncio Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Neves having to interfere. Hortêncio Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Paulo Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kayra Keleş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Açougueiros F.C's Orlando Loreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adriano Tasso was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Paulo Neves came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Açougueiros F.C's Orlando Loreto. But to his dismay, Orlando Loreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Paulo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Hortêncio Tande made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Neves. Wikiui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 68th minute Hortêncio Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Açougueiros F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atilano Beat in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Paraense in the 71st minute of play forced Wikiui's goalkeeper Paulo Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Açougueiros F.C's Hortêncio Tande in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wikiui's goalie prevented a goal. Orlando Loreto took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Neves. Paulo Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Mazinho Paranaense took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Neves. After a defensive mix-up in Wikiui's zone, Orlando Loreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Neves came out of the goal and Orlando Loreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hortêncio Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Tande in the 83rd minute of play. Gunnar Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Urbasa having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Loreto in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Neves saved Wikiui from getting behind. In the 88thth minute of the game Orlando Loreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wikiui's Paulo Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kayra Keleş, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Hortêncio Tande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Neves having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Açougueiros F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
