Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tostão Hermes took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Michalis Vassos came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Queimasangue SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Vassos couldn't finish the play. Breno Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dênis de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Michalis Vassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queimasangue SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Michalis Vassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dênis de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes Queimasangue SS got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias do Nascimento. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube de Regatas Flamengo's goalkeeper Dênis de Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimir Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ademar Guimarães hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Breno Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dênis de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Clube de Regatas Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes in the game, Breno Cunha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dênis de Toledo having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Queimasangue SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Fernandes came free, but Didi Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Massa having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Clube de Regatas Flamengo's goalkeeper Dênis de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breno Cunha. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Cunha to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Queimasangue SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Wiatrak to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Queimasangue SS's zone, Wilton Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Massa came out of the goal and Wilton Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michalis Vassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michalis Vassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the game, Vladimir Recife landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Benjamin Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queimasangue SS's protests and gave Benjamin Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Benjamin Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Didi Massa made a huge save. Zacarias do Nascimento's late challenge caught a Clube de Regatas Flamengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias do Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. Ian Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube de Regatas Flamengo's Dênis de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Cunha in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Tostão Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube de Regatas Flamengo and the Queimasangue SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tostão Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Breno Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 71 minutes, Gilson Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queimasangue SS and the Clube de Regatas Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilson Velasco hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Breno Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Breno Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis de Toledo having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Michalis Vassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube de Regatas Flamengo's Dênis de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dênis de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Didi Massa made a huge save. Queimasangue SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
