The Dragon Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. If Vânderson Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Gustavo Soares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Freire in the 33rd minute of play forced Maquina Do Mal's goalkeeper Jairo Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Loyola's late challenge caught a Maquina Do Mal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dragon Futebol Clube's Cássio Loyola got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragon Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dé Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Dragon Futebol Clube's José Augusto Bezerra got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Gilson Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maquina Do Mal's Luís Gustavo Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilson Quirino during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Dragon Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Quirino. Vânderson Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Vânderson Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dé Pernambucano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 86 minutes of play, Maquina Do Mal's Vânderson Valadares made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Pernambucano was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Dragon Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maquina Do Mal.
