The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute of the match Street Boys Football Club got a corner. Vasco Da Gama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Dante ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Chaves tried in the game's 57th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Fabiano Mota. Lino Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Street Boys Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Tales Favoretto. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Célio Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Street Boys Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Vítor Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Street Boys Football Club's Tiago Gabriel Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga in the 99th minute of play. Although Vasco Da Gama had been in control for most of the match, Street Boys Football Club still came away with the win.
