After a rather tough play, Fã Clube do Neto FC's Angelo Sousa got a free kick in the 7th minute. Rafa Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Deivid Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Váldson Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irmandade's supporters rose to their feet, but Váldson Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irmandade's Rafa Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Fantini in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Irmandade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Deivid Seco sped through Fã Clube do Neto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delfim Santana. 39 minutes into the game, Deivid Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Delfim Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deivid Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donatello Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Leonel Pavan put in a rough tackle. Irmandade's Jarbas Arruda was substituted for Deivid Seco. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Irmandade:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fã Clube do Neto FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Rafa Fontes, was totally fooled by Fã Clube do Neto FC's Isaltino Abraão, who 53 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After the first half Irmandade were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aírton Arósio made the kick off in the second half. Váldson Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Santana having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Váldson Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irmandade's supporters rose to their feet, but Váldson Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Váldson Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Váldson Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Irmandade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Trancoso couldn't finish the play. Delfim Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rafa Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Aírton Arósio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delfim Santana, 1-3. Váldson Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Irmandade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Arruda to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Isaltino Abraão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafa Fontes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Váldson Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horácio Mazza struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Delfim Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irmandade. Delfim Santana was a little too slow when Váldson Trancoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-5. Rafa Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irmandade played a much better game than Fã Clube do Neto FC and deserved their victory. The Fã Clube do Neto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
