After a defensive mix-up in Madragoa FC's zone, Erik Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Maranhense came out of the goal and Erik Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilvan Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cláudio Teles sent off a good shot on target. Erik Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egídio Pimenta in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cláudio Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute of the match João Adolfo Pontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilvan Maranhense skillfully saved the ball. Gilvan Maranhense didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lajedinho AD's Erik Cerezo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in Madragoa FC's zone, Tião Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Maranhense came out of the goal and Tião Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Madragoa FC's Gilvan Maranhense got control of the ball when Cláudio Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilvan Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Cláudio Teles sent off a good shot on target. Erik Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Tavares hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Madragoa FC's Gilvan Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Tavares in the 55th minute of play. If Egídio Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cristóvão Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madragoa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodriguinho Tavares was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rodriguinho Tavares hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Madragoa FC's Wilton Donatello couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lajedinho AD. After 66 played minutes Lajedinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Ruy de Brito. In the 67th minute, Egídio Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cláudio Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lajedinho AD getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. João Adolfo Pontes hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lajedinho AD fully deserved thier win.
