Caco Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes Caco Pinho rounded Herva's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Herva's goalkeeper Jorginho Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Pinho. Gil Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Caco Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho Pires was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Vitinho Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Vitinho Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herva's Jorginho Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caco Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jorginho Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Igarape FC's Caco Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Ramalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorginho Pires having to make a save. In the 56th minute Vitinho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Hermínio Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorginho Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Ramalho in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes of play, Igarape FC's Diogo Miranda made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorginho Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualter Trigo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jefferson Simão got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After having played for 72 minutes, Caco Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igarape FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Reis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Diogo Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Herva's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Dias came free, but Jorginho Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Vitinho Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igarape FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitinho Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorginho Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorginho Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Dias in the 82nd minute of the match. Igarape FC's Vitinho Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Diogo Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Igarape FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
