The long shot by Fred Breckenfeld in the 28th minute really tested Lino Zanette's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Samuel Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisão Albuquerque in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Clodio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vergasta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Vergasta FC's Joel Clodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Loyola in the 37th minute of play. Samuel Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Zanette having to interfere. Samuel Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lino Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vergasta FC's Bartlomiej Sitko got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes, Machacalis's Eduardo Breckenfeld shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Clodio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Machacalis reached it.

Lino Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The Vergasta FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Vergasta FC's Samuel Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th match minute, Machacalis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Passos to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Bueno in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Zanette saved Machacalis from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Vergasta FC's goalkeeper Joel Clodio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ian Cavalcante. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
