Lino Zanette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 29 minutes, Samuel Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vergasta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Samuel Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Samuel Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Zanette was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisão Albuquerque to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Eduardo Breckenfeld sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Clodio skillfully saved the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Válbson Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Joel Clodio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Bueno let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 63rd minute shot 2-3 at rihgt post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisão Albuquerque in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Clodio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Machacalis's zone, Frederico Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Zanette came out of the goal and Frederico Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Machacalis's goalkeeper Lino Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Bueno.
