Teodoro Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramón Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Neto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as João Francisco da Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teodoro Cordeiro. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After 12 played minutes Saulo Futebol Clube 39-XX got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Ferraz. João Francisco da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Teodoro Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manibu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saulo Futebol Clube 39-XX the free kick. Teodoro Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Teodoro Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco da Silveira in the 21st minute of the match. If Teodoro Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Ramón Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodoro Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ramón Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Neto was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Manibu defense, Tião do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Cordeiro. The Manibu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. Ramón Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duda Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Duda Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Marquez in the 44th minute of play. Duda Neto came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Manibu's Aloísio de Godoi. But to his dismay, Aloísio de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Francisco da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Manibu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aloísio de Godoi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that João Francisco da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Cordeiro was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Tião do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Neto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Ramón Marquez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Duda Neto made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Teodoro Soares sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco da Silveira in the 82nd minute of play. Saulo Futebol Clube 39-XX's Tião do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If João Francisco da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saulo Futebol Clube 39-XX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Ramón Marquez scored to the left of an out of position Duda Neto, making the score, 2-3. The supporters of Manibu booed when Saulo Futebol Clube 39-XX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manibu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
