The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Casseb SS's goalkeeper Gugu Linhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Massa. Gualter de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Casseb SS's Faustão Alves. But to his dismay, Faustão Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gualter de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Casseb SS's Gugu Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Casseb SS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Casseb SS's Faustão Alves got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gualter de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Alves in the 18th minute of play. Real Parque FC's Gualter de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Corrêa in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Matheus Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualter de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Alves in the 26th minute of the match. Nico Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Massa in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gugu Linhares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gualter de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Corrêa in the 38th minute of the match. Toninho Queiroz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes, Matheus Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casseb SS and the Real Parque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Casseb SS's Matheus Prestes got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Real Parque FC's Gualter de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Real Parque FC from getting a goal against them. When Nando Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casseb SS's protests and gave Nando Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Alves got free with Gualter de Azevedo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Casseb SS's Luís Fabiano Corrêa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualter de Azevedo. Gualter de Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 65 played minutes Casseb SS got a freekick which was hit by Nando Prestes. The supporters of Casseb SS booed when Real Parque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Real Parque FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Prestes came free, but Gualter de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter de Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fabiano Corrêa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 74 minute of play. Lenílson Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Casseb SS's Luís Fabiano Corrêa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Real Parque FC's Gualter de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Real Parque FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 90 minutes, Deivid Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Parque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deivid Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Luís Fabiano Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Parque FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Enio de Castro hit a great ball.
