Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Arruda started the match with the kick off. Sérgio de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Arruda in the 6th minute of play. Imprensa SS's Sérgio de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Varela in the 8th minute of play. Sérgio de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Sérgio de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvaldo Paranaense went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Olívio Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio de Sena having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Barral got free with Edinho Pereira in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Tinoco hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gustavo Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sérgio de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Minduri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Imprensa SS booed when Minduri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Edvaldo Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Minduri got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Paranaense. Imprensa SS's Sérgio de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Arruda in the 41st minute of play. Cipriano Berger hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Sérgio de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olívio Hoffmann went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the game, Olívio Hoffmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio de Sena. Olívio Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Bernardinho Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Varela came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sérgio de Sena could save by the left post. Gil Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sérgio de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio de Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Arruda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 69 minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Imprensa SS's goalkeeper Sérgio de Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Minduri's Gustavo Arruda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Sérgio de Sena made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gil Varela sent off a good shot on target. Sérgio de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olívio Hoffmann in the 89th minute. With an all-out effort, Minduri's Sérgio de Sena threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edvaldo Paranaense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Minduri's zone, Téo Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Pereira came out of the goal and Téo Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
