With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeu Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavinho Arósio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeu Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Jokers FC's zone, Claudinho Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavinho Arósio came out of the goal and Claudinho Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavinho Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Válbson Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Claudinho Freitas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jokers FC's Flavinho Arósio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Amadeu Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Base Forte's zone, Deivid da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qiao Xiang Feng came out of the goal and Deivid da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Base Forte's goalkeeper Qiao Xiang Feng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Jokers FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Base Forte were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dagoberto Paulista was the one to do the kick off. Base Forte's Claudinho Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Freitas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavinho Arósio came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinho Freitas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. Qiao Xiang Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Paulista in the 68th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Jokers FC got a freekick which was hit by Deivid da Silva.
