When Adalberto Massa fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARMANDUKE FC's protests and gave Adalberto Massa a yellow card for diving instead. Marcinho Simões placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 42nd minute, Tiago Gabriel Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frédson Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Afonso Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frédson Leme made a kick off. A collision led to MARMANDUKE FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kaká Vinhas hit a great ball. Afonso Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frédson Leme's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. MARMANDUKE FC's Afonso Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save MARMANDUKE FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Afonso Melo managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Moreira FC's Tiago Gabriel Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eurico Munhoz's late challenge caught a Moreira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eurico Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Tiago Gabriel Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Frédson Leme in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
