Paulão da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Felipe's Hamílton Carvalho got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Rezende in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Barros saved Felipe from getting behind. In the 13th minute Silvinho Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Carvalho hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Albertinho Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ianatama SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Rezende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natã Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Silvinho Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natã Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Rezende in the 22nd minute of the match. Nestor Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Nestor Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulão da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Pedro Paulo Salles hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Ianatama SS's Albertinho Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natã Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ianatama SS's Silvinho Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natã Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albertinho Rezende went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Natã Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Rezende in the 46th minute of play. Felipe's Natã Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Netto in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulão da Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe's Natã Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Araújo in the 56th minute of play. Nestor Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão da Fonseca in the 57th minute of the match. Ianatama SS's Albertinho Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, one of Felipe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Felipe. Silvinho Nettos short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Natã Barros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Felipe's zone, Albertinho Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natã Barros came out of the goal and Albertinho Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertinho Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Natã Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 93 in the game by Silvinho Netto from a close distance when the talented Natã Barros managed to make a qualified save. Felipe's players were relieved. Albertinho Rezende might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natã Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albertinho Rezende ran back to his position shaking his head. Albertinho Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ianatama SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Felipe.
