Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Eduardo Lima took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Vere EC booed when Jacauna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacauna's Luan Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Jacauna from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute of the match, Marcos Magalhães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luan Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Caio Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Lima in the 15th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Luís Eduardo Lima made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vere EC's Caio Valadares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Caio Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Eduardo Lima's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Luís Eduardo Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vere EC's Caio Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivo Bittencourt in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luan Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ivo Bittencourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caio Valadares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivo Bittencourt ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Eduardo Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caio Valadares having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Vere EC's zone, Ivo Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio Valadares came out of the goal and Ivo Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Luís Eduardo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacauna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Eduardo Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Valadares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jacauna's Luís Eduardo Lima got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 70 minutes, Orlando Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vere EC and the Jacauna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caio Valadares had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Teodoro Cardozo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Vere EC's Marcos Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luan Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Sidnei Arantes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caio Valadares. Vere EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jacauna's Ivo Bittencourt got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Vere EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Lima came free, but Caio Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Caio Valadares was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Luís Eduardo Lima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Eduardo Lima really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. In the 96th match minute, Jacauna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Mello to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Vere EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
