Filipe Teixeira succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Rafal Wolczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Matorin in the 9th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Luterano FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Ramos. The supporters of Luterano FC booed when Eao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Natã Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eao's Adelino de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Meireles in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Eao's Filipe Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafal Wolczewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Eao's Raúl Machado got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Felipe de Castro had to leave the field with a concussion. Rodolfo Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Eao got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Freitas. Adelino de Castro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leonardo Trancoso. If Filipe Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Luterano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Teixeira came free, but Rafal Wolczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Filipe Teixeira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Luterano FC's Rafal Wolczewski. Rafal Wolczewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 48 minutes into the game, Filipe Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rafal Wolczewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Teixeira made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Ramos during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrique Ramos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Filipe Teixeira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafal Wolczewski. Filipe Teixeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Luterano FC's Rafal Wolczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Teixeira in the 60th minute of play. If Filipe Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Filipe Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eao's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafal Wolczewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Eao's Filipe Teixeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 78 minutes into the match, Luterano FC's goalkeeper Rafal Wolczewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Matorin. 81 minutes into the game, Rato Viado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luterano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eao the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Bezerra during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luterano FC:s Rafal Wolczewski showed great skill when he stopped Filipe de Lima:s penalty. Rafal Wolczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Teixeira in the 90th minute of play forced Luterano FC's goalkeeper Rafal Wolczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Luterano FC defense, Pedrão Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafal Wolczewski. The Luterano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafal Wolczewski should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Luterano FC's Rafal Wolczewski got control of the ball when Rodolfo Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Eao supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Eao would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
