A collision led to Hollywood Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ricardinho Carvalho hit a great ball. Marizopolis FC's Anderson Guedes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. Emílio Valadares's late challenge caught a Hollywood Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio Ramalho hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Wilton Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hollywood Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hollywood Esporte Clube's Dráuzio Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Hollywood Esporte Clube's Dráuzio Cearense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-3. Hollywood Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
