Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Leonel Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curio EC's protests and gave Leonel Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Curio EC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Leonel Bertassi hit a great ball. When Adelino Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Gonzaga S.E.P fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Ortiz couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Adelino Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adelino Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurício Moraes having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Gonzaga S.E.P's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Alvarenga came free, but Enéas Quaresma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Igor da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dadá Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Moura in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enéas Quaresma saved Gonzaga S.E.P from getting behind. Armindo Mineiro took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Quaresma. Enéas Quaresma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute, Amílton Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Curio EC's zone, Adelino Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Moraes came out of the goal and Adelino Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Délio Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Urbano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maurício Moraes. Curio EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Curio EC booed when Gonzaga S.E.P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Vladimir Moura made the kick off in the second half. Maurício Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Mendonça in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Emanuel de Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enéas Quaresma. Emanuel de Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Enéas Quaresma made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Emanuel de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Délio Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Moraes having to interfere. Maurício Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Ortiz went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Olavo da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Gonzaga S.E.P's Amílton Urbano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Breno Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzaga S.E.P's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curio EC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gonzaga S.E.P's Breno Vale got a free kick in the 79th minute. Armindo Mineiro took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Quaresma. Enéas Quaresma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Olavo da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes, Gonzaga S.E.P's Amílton Urbano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurício Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gonzaga S.E.P reached it. If Adelino Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Breno Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curio EC played a much better game than Gonzaga S.E.P and deserved their victory. The Gonzaga S.E.P players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
