The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Virginopolis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Siqueira F.C:s goal. The goalkeeper, Patrício Cordeiro, was totally fooled by Siqueira F.C's Gino Hames, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Virginopolis booed when Siqueira F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
