Sidney Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Blessed getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kauan da Silveira hit a great ball. Erivaldo Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Edmílson Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chambioa EC's Erivaldo Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Baltazar de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Paulo de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Mané Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Carlinhos Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but José Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Carlinhos Paes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Paulo de Mendonça. The goal made the score 1-0. Baltazar de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fábio Zonta hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Blessed's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Lara came free, but Edmílson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltazar de Medeiros to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Baltazar de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chambioa EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmílson Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Lara in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Chambioa EC's Baltazar de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmílson Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Lara during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Erivaldo Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abel Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Carlinhos Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Carlinhos Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erivaldo Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmílson Souza having to make a save. A hard shot 73 in the game by Erivaldo Lara from a close distance when the talented Edmílson Souza managed to make a qualified save. Blessed's players were relieved. Edmílson Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar de Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Carlinhos Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo de Mendonça having to interfere. Baltazar de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Edmílson Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chambioa EC. If Erivaldo Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Mané Rosa made a precise shot to the right of José Paulo de Mendonça. Chambioa EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 93rd minute, Erivaldo Lara made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Souza. Blessed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Chambioa EC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Blessed to leave the ground with a draw.
