In the 6th minute Tony Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes, Conan Espada Clube's Téo Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tibúrcio Pirani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Conan Espada Clube reached it. In the 14th minute, Albertino Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Giovanni de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni de Lara in the 27th minute of play forced Vasconcellos AD's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Vasconcellos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marinov Gorchev to maneuver through the defense. Kléberson Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Giovanni de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibúrcio Pirani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cícero Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasconcellos AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Camargo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cícero Baiano sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Tony Proença notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vasconcellos AD's Tibúrcio Pirani. Tibúrcio Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tibúrcio Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Proença in the 44th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Vasconcellos AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Proença came free, but Tibúrcio Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conan Espada Clube's João Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinov Gorchev in the 45th minute of play. The Vasconcellos AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Conan Espada Clube were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cícero Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cícero Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donatello Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tibúrcio Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Proença in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Albertino Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasconcellos AD and the Conan Espada Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Albertino Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasconcellos AD's Tibúrcio Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Vasconcellos AD from getting a goal against them. Tibúrcio Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerônimo Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Proença in the 68th minute of play forced Vasconcellos AD's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Proença in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tibúrcio Pirani saved Vasconcellos AD from getting behind. Tibúrcio Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Proença went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 77 played minutes Vasconcellos AD got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Amaral. 81 minutes into the match, Vasconcellos AD's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni de Lara. João Camargo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cícero Baiano went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Giovanni de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Vasconcellos AD's Cícero Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibúrcio Pirani made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Giovanni de Lara sent off a good shot on target. Conan Espada Clube played a much better game than Vasconcellos AD and deserved their victory. The Vasconcellos AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
