After 9th play minutes Giuseppe de Medeiros shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jefferson Fernandes and just under the crossbar into goal. Juninho Couto's shot from long distance in the 17th minute was not bad at all, but S.E. Rui Bloem's Renatinho Figueiredo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Juvenal Domingues hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Renatinho Figueiredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Flavinho Donatello. Ernesto Pombal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 25 minutes into the match, Giuseppe de Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Fernandes. Paquicama SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe de Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Giuseppe de Medeiros sped through Paquicama SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jefferson Fernandes. If Samuel Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Giuseppe de Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Fernandes. Paquicama SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe de Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe de Medeiros in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The S.E. Rui Bloem fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when S.E. Rui Bloem's Giuseppe de Medeiros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amadeu Carneiro's late challenge caught a S.E. Rui Bloem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Amadeu Carneiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half S.E. Rui Bloem were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fábio Custódio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Renatinho Figueiredo, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-5. Fabrício Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renatinho Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléberson Souza got free with Jefferson Fernandes in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rui Bloem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.E. Rui Bloem. The referee gave Paquicama SS a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felipe Falcão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.E. Rui Bloem's Renatinho Figueiredo. 2-7. 87 minutes into the game, S.E. Rui Bloem's Cléberson Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-8. When S.E. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomé Sá in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renatinho Figueiredo saved S.E. Rui Bloem from getting behind. Fábio Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jefferson Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.E. Rui Bloem played a much better game than Paquicama SS and deserved their victory. The Paquicama SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
