The Smallville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Jacobsson should have stopped the shot. Eriberto Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys's zone, Edinho Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Vianna came out of the goal and Edinho Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Abreu in the 32nd minute of play. Eriberto Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Abreu in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys's zone, Fellipe de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Vianna came out of the goal and Fellipe de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fellipe de Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Vianna having to make a save. In the 62nd minute of the match Sílvio Couto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Vianna skillfully saved the ball. Eriberto Vianna came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Smallville's Fellipe de Moraes. But to his dismay, Fellipe de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fellipe de Moraes scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Vianna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fellipe de Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Vianna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fellipe de Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Loco Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Loco Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Eriberto Vianna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe de Moraes in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Vianna saved Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys from getting behind. Fellipe de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eriberto Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys's goalkeeper Eriberto Vianna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Smallville's Loco Abreu in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys's goalie prevented a goal. Smallville walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
