Clemente Motta's late challenge caught a União Agrícola Barbarense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Motta hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Giovanni Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nuno Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Os Espartanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Abreu couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes in the game, Luiz Paulo Ramos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Giovanni Travassos having to interfere. Breno Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's Cássio Vieira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee showed Dedé Leme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, União Agrícola Barbarense's Dedé Leme got a free kick in the 55th minute. Luiz Paulo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Travassos having to interfere. In the 64th minute Reginaldo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Os Espartanos got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Motta. In the 67th minute, Dedé Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Reginaldo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
