Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Neiva kicked off to start the match. Luizão Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Neiva in the 6th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Alfredo Neiva made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Demolidores FC's Luizão Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Demolidores FC booed when Jacata EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umberto de Mendonça was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Nilmar Cabral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nilmar Cabral really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Sidnei do Vale notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Demolidores FC's Luizão Pires. Luizão Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredo Neiva scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Neiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Alfredo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacata EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Alfredo Neiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Luizão Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sidnei do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilmar Cabral made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Demolidores FC's goalkeeper Luizão Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidnei do Vale. In the 54thth minute of the game Alfredo Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Demolidores FC's Luizão Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luizão Pires made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Sidnei do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Nilmar Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Umberto de Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilmar Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Neiva in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizão Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgílio Moraes's late challenge caught a Jacata EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgílio Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei do Vale got free with Luizão Pires in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidnei do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luizão Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Pires was a little too slow when Alfredo Neiva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-5. If Sidnei do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Neiva in the 76th minute of the match. Inácio de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilmar Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto de Mendonça having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Sidnei do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jacata EC's Alfredo Neiva in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Demolidores FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alfredo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacata EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizão Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidnei do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei do Vale in the 94th minute of play forced Demolidores FC's goalkeeper Luizão Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacata EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
