Saraiva's Antônio Carlos Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Arósio in the 12th minute of play. Eusébio Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Paes in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, C. R. Flamengo's Eusébio Vergílio got control of the ball when Narciso Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Narciso Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luís Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, André Luiz do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. R. Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antônio Carlos Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to C. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. R. Flamengo's goalkeeper Eusébio Vergílio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Nascimento in the 71st minute of play forced Saraiva's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Lucas Arósio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Saraiva's Antônio Carlos Cabral. Antônio Carlos Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafinha Leme hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Paes during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
