Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Arósio started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Rossensal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Wellington Rossi hit a great ball. Lucas Arósio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Cosme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Eusébio Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisão Saraiva went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Wellington Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rossensal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 18th minute when Luisão Saraiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luisão Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wellington Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Vergílio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wellington Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Luisão Saraiva, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eusébio Vergílio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Wellington Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Rossi in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Vergílio saved C. R. Flamengo from getting behind. Wellington Rossi struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Eusébio Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rossensal. Eusébio Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisão Saraiva went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Eusébio Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Saraiva in the 35th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Benjamin Custódio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eusébio Vergílio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisão Saraiva in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Vergílio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Rossensal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! David Cosme had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping André Luiz do Nascimento's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 58 played minutes Rossensal got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Dante. If Luisão Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute, Lucas Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Rossensal's Wellington Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. A collision led to C. R. Flamengo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lucas Arósio hit a great ball. Eusébio Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Saraiva in the 82nd minute of play forced C. R. Flamengo's goalkeeper Eusébio Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Arósio in the 88th minute of play. Luisão Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Eusébio Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rossensal. C. R. Flamengo's Eusébio Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Saraiva in the 98th minute of play. Rossensal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
