Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedrinho Miranda got the match started through his kick off. José Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Mineiro having to interfere. With a little luck, Xeneize MZF's Geovânio Donatello got control of the ball when Orlando Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Miranda in the 8th minute of play forced Xeneize MZF's goalkeeper Geovânio Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Quaracu AD's Pedrinho Miranda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. José Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bernardo Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, José Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xeneize MZF's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, José Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xeneize MZF's supporters rose to their feet, but José Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quaracu AD's Bernardo Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maranhense in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Xeneize MZF's José Maranhense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Orlando Lira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Xeneize MZF's Geovânio Donatello got control of the ball when Orlando Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo Mineiro came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Xeneize MZF's José Maranhense. But to his dismay, José Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Xeneize MZF's José Maranhense suffered a sore thigh after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 36 played minutes Quaracu AD got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ferraz. The supporters of Quaracu AD booed when Xeneize MZF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Pedrinho Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quaracu AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Percy Borges made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Lira in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovânio Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Pedrinho Miranda sped through Xeneize MZF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geovânio Donatello. Geovânio Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Miranda in the 61st minute of play. Pedrinho Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Donatello having to interfere. If Percy Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Miranda's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Lira in the 73rd minute of play forced Xeneize MZF's goalkeeper Geovânio Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Donatello having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Tinoco in the 84th minute of play forced Xeneize MZF's goalkeeper Geovânio Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Donatello having to interfere. Geovânio Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Xeneize MZF defense, Pedrinho Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Donatello. The Xeneize MZF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Donatello should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Miranda in the 96th minute of play forced Xeneize MZF's goalkeeper Geovânio Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Xeneize MZF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quaracu AD.
