After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Vânderson de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argoim's supporters rose to their feet, but Vânderson de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36thth minute of the game Maicon Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BARCELONA FC's João Vítor Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Argoim's Maicon Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
