Pedro Augusto Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuca Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Lucas Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Christian Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Samuca Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Christian Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dudu Netto. Samuca Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Christian Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comercinho FC's attentive Maicon Vasconcelos managed to snatch the ball when Cipriano Leal made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney Tasso made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Stunts Sport Club's Sydney Tasso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Augusto Félix. That made the score 2-1 after 52 minutes of play. Luiz Paulo Messias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Comercinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Messias. Comercinho FC made a substitution. Paulo José Marinho replaced Samuca Aguiar. The supporters of Stunts Sport Club booed when Comercinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rodriguinho Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stunts Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Comercinho FC's Dudu Netto got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Paulo José Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denílson Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pedro Augusto Félix made a huge save. If Paulo José Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Paulo José Marinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comercinho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Paulo José Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comercinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
