Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes, Gualter Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raposa and the Comercinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Raposa! Samuca Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Wiliam Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comercinho FC. If Samuca Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comercinho FC. In the 38th minute, Hudson Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 61st minute Paulo José Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaltino Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiliam Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaltino Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. Wiliam Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José Marinho in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Raposa's zone, Paulo José Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Tavares came out of the goal and Paulo José Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Paulo José Marinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comercinho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Paulo José Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo José Marinho struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Wiliam Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comercinho FC. Wiliam Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Marinho in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Christian Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raposa's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo José Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wiliam Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Raposa defense, Paulo José Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiliam Tavares. The Raposa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiliam Tavares should have stopped the shot. Paulo José Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Tavares having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Raposa's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Marinho came free, but Wiliam Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comercinho FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
