Raposa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Velloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Quirino during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pintinha getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Danilo Quirino hit a great ball. Wilton Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ribeiro having to interfere. Rodolfo Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otávio Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wiliam Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Pintinha's Otávio Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiliam Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Otávio Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Pintinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Neiva couldn't finish the play. Pintinha's Otávio Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Pirani in the 40th minute of play forced Raposa's goalkeeper Wiliam Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Fontes in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Pirani made the kick off in the second half. Pintinha's Rodolfo Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiliam Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Otávio Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wiliam Tavares. Raposa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Otávio Neiva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pintinha's zone, Wilton Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ribeiro came out of the goal and Wilton Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiliam Tavares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Danilo Quirino hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Velloso in the 79th minute of play forced Pintinha's goalkeeper Gabriel Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Fontes in the 81st minute of play. In the 89th minute, Wilton Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Christian Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
