He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tacuarichim SC reached it. Lino Costa's late challenge caught a Game of ThronesFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Tacuarichim SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Costa to maneuver through the defense. Lino Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente do Vale having to make a save. The supporters of Game of ThronesFC booed when Tacuarichim SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Tacuarichim SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vicente do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Benedito Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente do Vale having to interfere. Lino Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Game of ThronesFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tacuarichim SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
