Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedito Toledo started the match with the kick off. Benedito Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jeremias Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Washington Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Luiz Paulo Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Tacuarichim SC's Benedito Toledo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. A collision led to Tacuarichim SC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Valdomiro Fantini hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Fellipe de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Paulo Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Délio Zanette's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Tacuarichim SC's Benedito Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Washington Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luiz Paulo Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA Fogo Central's Délio Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Délio Zanette made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match CA Fogo Central got a corner. Tacuarichim SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilian Lara ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CA Fogo Central's Wilian Lara to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Paulo Cardoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, CA Fogo Central's goalkeeper Jeremias Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Costa. The audience was convinced that Délio Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Paulo Cardoso was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Fellipe de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Luiz Paulo Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Barros in the 63rd minute of play forced Tacuarichim SC's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Fogo Central's Jeremias Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Toledo in the 64th minute of play. Wilian Lara, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Tacuarichim SC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Zanette came free, but Luiz Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Tacuarichim SC's zone, Délio Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Cardoso came out of the goal and Délio Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Tacuarichim SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Neves to maneuver through the defense. Lino Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Tacuarichim SC's zone, Washington Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Cardoso came out of the goal and Washington Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeremias Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, CA Fogo Central's goalkeeper Jeremias Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Costa. The Tacuarichim SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
