Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Dietrichz FC's Vito Salles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerson Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gláuber Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pontes having to interfere. Gláuber Figueiredo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Pontes. Enrique Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Queimadinhas's Vânderson Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Dietrichz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Macedo came free, but Valdomiro Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerson Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Berger having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Leandro Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vânderson Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Valdomiro Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Gláuber Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dietrichz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Vito Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dietrichz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdomiro Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Queimadinhas got a freekick which was hit by André Santana. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Valdomiro Berger came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Queimadinhas's Gerson Prado. But to his dismay, Gerson Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vânderson Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdomiro Berger made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gerson Prado sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Figueiredo in the 67th minute of play forced Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Enrique Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Gláuber Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dietrichz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gláuber Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Queimadinhas's Enrique Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Figueiredo in the 75th minute of play. Enrique Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Salles in the 77th minute of play. Vito Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pontes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vânderson Macedo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdomiro Berger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dietrichz FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vito Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Enrique Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gláuber Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
