After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Wilton Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raposa's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Coutinho's late challenge caught a Pintinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Raposa's Francisco Coutinho got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rodolfo Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Tavares having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Caio Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raposa the free kick. Wilton Velloso struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otávio Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Tavares having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Pintinha's Otávio Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes of play Pintinha's Caio Cerezo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, Caio Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gabriel Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Otávio Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Raposa defense, Otávio Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiliam Tavares. The Raposa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiliam Tavares should have stopped the shot. Christian Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
