Hílton de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Washington Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente do Vale having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Zanette in the 14th minute of play forced Game of ThronesFC's goalkeeper Vicente do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Game of ThronesFC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Zanette came free, but Vicente do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Game of ThronesFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Faustão Falcão hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Délio Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Game of ThronesFC's zone, Washington Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente do Vale came out of the goal and Washington Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Washington Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fellipe de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Fogo Central's protests and gave Fellipe de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the match, Game of ThronesFC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Zanette came free, but Vicente do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA Fogo Central's Jeremias Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão da Silva in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Délio Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente do Vale was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Washington Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vicente do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes CA Fogo Central got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Lara. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Délio Zanette was the one to do the kick off. Fellipe de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Game of ThronesFC's Falcão da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Washington Barros made a precise shot to the right of Vicente do Vale. Game of ThronesFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Game of ThronesFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Walmyr Arce hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Barros in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Game of ThronesFC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Leal came free, but Vicente do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustão Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the game's 87th minute CA Fogo Central's Wilian Lara took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Vicente do Vale and thus the score was 2-0. Game of ThronesFC's Vicente do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Zanette in the 95th minute of play. Vicente do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Leal in the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute of the match CA Fogo Central got a corner. Game of ThronesFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilian Lara ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CA Fogo Central had played much better football throughout.
