Spectators: 7117 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 52) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Samuca Aguiar made the kick off which started today's match. Samuca Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Nico Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comercinho FC's Pedro Augusto Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Silveira in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Comercinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Medeiros. After recieving a nice pass, Guayra's Osmar Mazza tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Samuca Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Comercinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Aguiar couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Leite got free with Pedro Augusto Félix in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th match minute, Guayra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, Guayra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. If Isaltino Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Comercinho FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eusébio Sabóia hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Comercinho FC's Maicon Vasconcelos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tarcisio Aguiar, made in the 55th minute of the game. Pedro Augusto Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Augusto Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guayra's zone, Lucas Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Catarinense came out of the goal and Lucas Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comercinho FC's Paulo José Marinho was substituted for Samuca Aguiar. Nico Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Marinho in the 64th minute of play. Comercinho FC's Pedro Augusto Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Leite in the 72nd minute of play. Pedro Augusto Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Freire charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Freire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Guayra got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Freire. In the 80th minute, Paulo José Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nico Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José Marinho in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Paulo José Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Comercinho FC's José Vítor Pontes in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guayra's goalie prevented a goal. Raphael Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Félix having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Félix came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Guayra's Fred Mattos. But to his dismay, Fred Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If José Vítor Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comercinho FC's Paulo José Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Comercinho FC defense, Fred Mattos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Félix. The Comercinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Augusto Félix should have stopped the shot. Comercinho FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
