After having played for 10 minutes, Denílson Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stunts Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Game of ThronesFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Arce to maneuver through the defense. Sydney Tasso took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente do Vale. Vicente do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tomé Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomé Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Tomé Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Pontes made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Doriva Vides sent off a good shot on target. Cido Ortiz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Denílson Bezerra put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente do Vale. Cristian Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Stunts Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Velasco. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney Tasso made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Doriva Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Falcão da Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Pontes. Stunts Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Falcão da Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 61st minute Sydney Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão da Silva in the 64th minute of play forced Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Christian Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes in the game, Denílson Bezerra fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vicente do Vale having to interfere. With a little luck, Game of ThronesFC's Vicente do Vale got control of the ball when Denílson Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Paulão Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stunts Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulão Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Denílson Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Vicente do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stunts Sport Club. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Game of ThronesFC's goalkeeper Vicente do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Stunts Sport Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stunts Sport Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
