Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Délio Zanette started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Barros in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Tepedino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. CA Fogo Central's Wilian Lara couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Queimadinhas. Enrique Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Délio Zanette went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Washington Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Fogo Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Washington Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pontes having to interfere. Délio Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. André Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, CA Fogo Central's Wilian Lara tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Queimadinhas booed when CA Fogo Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pontes having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, CA Fogo Central's Washington Barros made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Queimadinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Barros came free, but Enrique Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, CA Fogo Central's Délio Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Pontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Queimadinhas's zone, Washington Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Pontes came out of the goal and Washington Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half CA Fogo Central were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Vânderson Macedo made the kick off in the second half. Enrique Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Barros in the 53rd minute. Enrique Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Zanette in the 54th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Enrique Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Washington Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Enrique Pontes made a huge save. The supporters of CA Fogo Central booed when Queimadinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Washington Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 73 in the game by Washington Barros from a close distance when the talented Enrique Pontes managed to make a qualified save. Queimadinhas's players were relieved. Délio Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pontes having to interfere. Vânderson Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Délio Zanette received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Pontes came out and tried to block the shot, but Délio Zanette slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 81st minute. Enrique Pontes made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Washington Barros sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Zanette in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, CA Fogo Central's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Macedo came free, but Jeremias Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over CA Fogo Central could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Queimadinhas throughout the match.
