Valdir Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Siqueira in the 5th minute of play. Valdir Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Siqueira in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Quintino FC's Valdemar Capixaba got a free kick in the 7th minute. Quintino FC's Valdir Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Quintino FC from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quintino FC's goalkeeper Valdir Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Quintino FC's goalkeeper Valdir Arce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Tepedino. Nicolas Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Valdir Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Armandinho Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tesourinho Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quintino FC the free kick. Thomás Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game José Vítor Bezerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tesourinho Futebol Clube's Denílson de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Bezerra in the 28th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kléber Siqueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdir Arce. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Kléber Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Arce having to interfere. Valdir Arce came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Tesourinho Futebol Clube's Nicolas Tepedino. But to his dismay, Nicolas Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. José Vítor Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. César Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Denílson de Almeida, was totally fooled by Quintino FC's José Carlos de Mendonça, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kléber Siqueira took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Arce. Valdir Arce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Thomás Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Quintino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Brodel couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Tesourinho Futebol Clube defense, Thomás Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denílson de Almeida. The Tesourinho Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson de Almeida should have stopped the shot. After 78 minutes, Valdemar Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quintino FC and the Tesourinho Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdemar Capixaba hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Agnaldo Brasil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Quintino FC's Valdir Arce didn't even have to move. Valdir Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Nicolas Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Arce having to interfere. Kléber Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Valdir Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Arce having to interfere. Artur Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Thomás Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quintino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomás Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tesourinho Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
