Ezequiel Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Paraiso's Franklin Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Paraiso from getting a goal against them. Zé Pedro Netto hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Franklin Arantes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Lago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 44 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tião Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fernando Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Arantes having to interfere. If Luiz Fernando Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Paraiso's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Lago came free, but Franklin Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. True Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fernando Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. True Hawks had played much better football throughout.
