After a rather tough play, Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's Iuri Barros got a free kick in the 6th minute. Eliézer Brasil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tarcisio Mineiro. Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, ELOC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago de Salles came free, but Sidnei Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute ELOC were awarded a corner. Eliézer Brasil went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eliézer Brasil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tarcisio Mineiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ELOC were furious when Samuel de Toledo was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's Silas Cruz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sidnei Costa. In the 21st minute Thiago de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ELOC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Almeida hit a great ball. Tiago de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Costa having to interfere. Sidnei Costa made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Tiago de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. ELOC's Sidnei Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save ELOC from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ELOC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cheltenham Town FSCMZ the free kick. Thiago de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After 59 minutes, Alfredão Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheltenham Town FSCMZ and the ELOC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfredão Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, ELOC's Eliézer Brasil broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in ELOC's zone, Thiago de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Costa came out of the goal and Thiago de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidnei Costa came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's Thiago de Salles. But to his dismay, Thiago de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tiago de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's Alfredão Valle got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 76th match minute, ELOC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Almeida to maneuver through the defense. If Thiago de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago de Sousa's late challenge caught a ELOC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's Tiago de Sousa got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tarcisio Mineiro made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Perivaldo Valladares sent off a good shot on target. When Alfredão Valle was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Alfredão Valle hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Tiago de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
