Osvaldo Maia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Raí de Amorim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 10 minutes into the game, Floripa Runners's Hugo Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Renato Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Raí de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Teixeira in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Floripa Runners's Silvinho Sabóia got a free kick in the 20th minute. Silvinho Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Paulo Renato Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Aroeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Rodrigues came free, but Paulo Renato Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Renato Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí de Amorim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Teixeira in the 33rd minute of play forced Floripa Runners's goalkeeper Raí de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Renato Mendes came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Floripa Runners's Hugo Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Hugo Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Hugo Rodrigues notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Aroeirinha's Paulo Renato Mendes. Paulo Renato Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Silvinho Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Renato Mendes made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Hugo Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Maia notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Floripa Runners's Raí de Amorim. Raí de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 72 played minutes Floripa Runners got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Sabóia. After a defensive mix-up in Floripa Runners's zone, Osvaldo Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí de Amorim came out of the goal and Osvaldo Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernani Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Raí de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aroeirinha were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Floripa Runners to leave the ground with a draw.
