Canada Goose F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Tales Teles scored to the left of an out of position Claudinho Monteiro, making the score, 1-0. Claudinho Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmyr Vidal in the 25th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Tales Teles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claudinho Monteiro, 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Canada Goose F.C.'s goalkeeper Claudinho Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmyr Vidal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tales Teles to make the kick off.
