Canada Goose F.C.'s Simão Mattos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Remo Rossi, made in the 12th minute of the game. Canada Goose F.C.'s Claudinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Maia in the 19th minute of play. Canada Goose F.C.'s Simão Mattos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Remo Rossi, made in the 26th minute of the game. Ernani Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Paulo Renato Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aroeirinha's zone, Hernani das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Mendes came out of the goal and Hernani das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernani Teixeira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Aroeirinha's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The throw-in from Waldemar Porto in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Aroeirinha's Renato Correia. In the 43rd minute, Hernani das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Hernani das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada Goose F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Jorginho de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 49 in the game by Osvaldo Maia from a close distance when the talented Claudinho Monteiro managed to make a qualified save. Canada Goose F.C.'s players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
