Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Danilo Simão got the match started through his kick off. Tupynambás's Cauã Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Tupynambás from getting a goal against them. Lenílson Medeiros hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Isaltino Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Tinoco having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Isaltino Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Pindoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, César Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pindoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tupynambás the free kick. The supporters of Tupynambás booed when Pindoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupynambás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Eduardo Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pindoba's zone, Carlos Eduardo Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Leite came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauã Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaltino Rodrigues in the 38th minute. Isaltino Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Tupynambás got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Soares. Tupynambás's Cauã Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Tupynambás from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Aloísio de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Simão in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Leite saved Pindoba from getting behind. Hudson Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cauã Tinoco having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio de Toledo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauã Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rdth minute of the game Aloísio de Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tupynambás's Cauã Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Isaltino Rodrigues notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tupynambás's Cauã Tinoco. Cauã Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isaltino Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cauã Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Tupynambás's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio de Toledo came free, but Cauã Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Pindoba's Aloísio de Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cauã Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With an all-out effort, Tupynambás's Cláudio Leite threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danilo Simão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aloísio de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Pindoba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
